Corrosion protection for biomass plants. Significantly reduce maintenance costs
Aggressive elements present in the equipment increase the risk of corrosion, and this makes us allocate some costs for repairing. Now you can have safety needed in the operation of your equipment. We recommend you to read further about a project with very good results. It is a technical solution for protection of biomass installations. The systems can be adapted according to the present aggressive elements in your equipment, regardless of industry.
About the project
The project consisted of applying a corrosion protection in a biomass plant. Proguard product was applied over the entire surface of 360 m2. This technical solution to ensure equipment efficiency and maintain the quality of the metal surface.
3 benefits of Proguard CN-1M
1) High-grade chemical resistance
In this plant, apple pomace is used for the production of biogas. Beside aggressive acids and gases which occur by the fermentation process, the biomass is highly corrosive by increased contents of sugar and the extreme acidic character of the apple pomace (pH-value occasionally under 4).
2) Outstanding adhesion on concrete without primer
After adequate preparation of the concrete our product shows extreme adhesion, very much higher than the internal cohesive forces of concrete itself. No primer is necessary on cementitious substrates. Therefore, enormous savings on working time and material costs are achieved.
3) High temperature resistance
Due to the fermentation process high temperatures occur in the biogas fermenter; our coating system provides safe and long-term temperature resistance
