Screed aplication and multiple anticorrosion systems on various surfaces

B-Team Corrosion Protection cand proudly say that it has over 20,000 sq application of corrosion protection types, both in Romania and in Europe. Most projects, developed out over the years, have assumed complete systems products and technical solutions tailored to each work separately.

One such project is done at this moment, and  assumes the application of a corrosion protection system at a retention tank of hydrochloric acid (HCL) (scred, two component antacids  resin layer, sand, antacid mortars, anti-acid tiles).

Initial situation recorded before applying protection system:

·       Corroded concrete surface, layer of cement attacked, the conditions of mechanical and chemical resistance, and adhesion to the surface being severely affected;

System (technical solution) adopted by B-Team Corrosion Protection specialists consists of applying a mechanical screed 10-12 cm in thickness, taking into account  slopes drain (fast setting, low shrinkage) so that it is suitable for outdoor applications and ceramic floors can be applied on it.

The system structure includes :

·       CM 17 adhesive application on the base and the edges of the tank;

·       Screed application;

·       A leyer of bicomponent coating (primer and topcoat) of anti-acid resins, over which is sprinkled a layer of sand with grain-size distribution, washed and clean;

·       Anti-acid mortars;

·       12 mm anti-acid tiles;

Along with HCL retention tank, the project also involves the application of a rubber-system of a reaction vessel, and a system recovery storage of the hydrochloric acid storage tank wall.

Regarding the reaction vessel, which was originally polished interior and after applied a rubber system-Chemoline 4CN - 4mm. The joints were protected with strips of Chemoline 4CN and Remafix Soft (Soft rubber putty) subsequently applied to all the edges.

For the inner surface of the hydrochloric acid storage tank was applied primer, Lining 65 (polyester resin and fiberglass) and two sealing layers. For external surface protection system has been applied an composed layer of particulate antacid with added fiberglass, COROFLAKE 23 that can be applied over a layer of polyurethane with UV resistant (Coropur Cover Ral 1014).
