The way you can forget about the factors that affect biogas plants

To maintain optimal function and quality of the equipment it`s necessary to eliminate factors that can have a negative impact on industrial processes. Preventive measures are needed to reduce costs involved by replacing the affected parts. The most common problems are those caused by corrosion and abrasion.

In the case of biogas and biomass stations chemical influences affect metal and concrete surfaces. Also, contact with solid materials and  pasty biomass will affect loading devices, conveyors, fermenters, tanks, sanitation, and other components of biogas plants. For optimal functioning, it is necessary to apply a corrosion protection and anti-abrasion system.

For proper application on the surface, the metal structures were grinded. This was done in accordance with the cleaning SA 2.5 and roughness> 50 μm. Subsequently, the protection system was applied with a thickness of 600-800 μm.

PROGUARD  CN  200-LV2  can be applied directly to the sandblasted surface using a spray. Furthermore, the product can be applied using conventional hand tools due to low viscosity and long storage duration.
